In the period from February 21 to 22, 2014 in Honolulu, USA the international scientific Conference of the RUSALCA Project “RUSALCA 2014, Principal Investigator's Workshop: Synthesis and Publications” was successfully held. The Conference was organized by US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in cooperation with the Russian participants of the Project.

In the period from 21 to 23 may 2013 in St. Petersburg on the basis of FSUE “VNIIOkeangeologia” the international scientific Conference of the RUSALCA Project will be held: “RUSALCA 2013, Principal Investigator's Workshop: Synthesis and Publications”. The Conference is organized and held by Russian participants of the Project in cooperation with the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

The research vessel "Professor Khromov» has arrived in the port of Nome (Alaska). The phase B of the Leg-2 of the RUSALCA expedition 2012 was successfully accomplished. In the severe stormy and icy conditions all main planned works in Chukchi Sea were accomplished. New unique scientific data were obtained.
The preparations for the analysis of the RUSALCA project data collected in the period of time from 2004 till 2012 are in progress.

The preparations for the two phases (A and B) of the Leg-2 of the RUSALCA expedition 2012 are in progress.
The dates of the two phases (A and B) have been determined.
The Leg-2-A of the expedition will take place on August 23 (Anadyr) - 27 (Nome) of 2012.
The Leg-2-B of the expedition will take place on August 28 (Nome) - September 17 (Nome) of 2012.

The preparation for the meeting of the Principal Investigators
(heads of the scientific directions) of the RUSALCA project for planning
of the research in the expedition of 2012 is in progress.
The time and place of the meeting is now confirmed. The meeting will
take place in Miami (USA, Florida) on March 9-12 of 2012.

The preporations for the November visit of Dr. Jhon Calder and Kathleen Crane have sarted. It is planned to discuss the development and future plns of RUSALCA project in 2012.
